Deck Maintenance
The Board recently updated requirements for staining, repairing and replacing decks. New information can be found here.
Did you Know...
Unit owners are responsible for maintenance, repair and replacement of their deck, patio, driveway, the sidewalk from the driveway to the stoop itself.
The deck stain colors are from Home Depot and include Olympic brand stain, base 79602 in Timberline and Behr brand solid stain, base S220 in baked sienna.
Please contact the Standards Committee to confirm the color of stain and or solid colored stain you want to use is acceptable.
Hand Rails
Owners interested in having a metal handrail installed by their front door should contact Mike Williams with Architectural Iron at 636-485-8596.
Reminder
There have been several instances of owners completing repairs at the exterior of their units and then asking to be reimbursed by the Association. Please note, exterior repairs will not be reimbursed unless approved prior to work being started. Many times the Association can have repairs done for less or taken care of by an existing warranty.
Insurance Information
The Association works with an insurance broker, Lakenan Insurance. We advise owners to review their individual homeowner's insurance coverage at least annually-especially the loss assessment coverage which covers any Association deductibles you may be charged for if there is a claim.
