Southern Oaks Owners Association is a planned unit development.  When owners purchase a unit in the community they agree to abide by the governing documents of the Association.  These documents include the following:
 
 
 
The Association also has a Standards Committee that reviews architectural requests.  Owners interested in making changes to the exterior of their units must get approval from the Standards Committee prior to making any changes.  Changes include the following:  adding a satellite dish, installing new windows, enclosing a deck, adding landscaping. 
 
Owners seeking approval for an exterior change should fill out an architectural request form and send to the management company.
